Easy Cream Cheese Pound Cake
Ingredients:
1 ½ cups butter
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
3 cups white sugar
6 large eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan.
Cream Butter and Cream Cheese: In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the sugar and beat until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Add Eggs: Add eggs, two at a time, beating well with each addition until fully incorporated.
Add Flour and Vanilla: Add the flour all at once and mix until just combined. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Pour Batter: Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan, spreading it evenly.
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Check for doneness at 1 hour by inserting a toothpick into the center of the cake; it should come out clean. If not, continue baking until done.
Cool and Serve: Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!
