Ingredients
- 4 boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika (or regular paprika)
- 1 tsp dried thyme (or your favorite herb)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the Pork Chops:
- Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. This helps to get a nice sear and caramelization.
- Season:
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Rub this mixture all over the pork chops, ensuring they are well coated.
- Roast:
- Place the pork chops on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or in a roasting pan.
- Roast in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Rest:
- Remove the pork chops from the oven and let them rest for about 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute, keeping them moist.
- Serve:
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve with your favorite sides like roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
