Peach Cobbler Cheesecake Stuffed Donuts
Ingredients:
For the Donuts:
1 can of biscuit dough (or pre-made donut dough)
Vegetable oil, for frying
For the Peach Cobbler Filling:
1 can peach slices in syrup (or use fresh peaches)
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon cornstarch (for thickening)
1 tablespoon water
For the Cheesecake Filling:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup heavy cream
For the Topping:
1/4 cup crumbled graham crackers (or your favorite biscuit)
1/4 cup glaze (made with powdered sugar and a little milk, or store-bought)
A pinch of cinnamon for sprinkling
Directions:
Prepare the Peach Cobbler Filling:
In a saucepan, combine the peach slices, brown sugar, cinnamon, cornstarch, and water.
Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the peaches soften and the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
Make the Cheesecake Filling:
In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Add the heavy cream and mix until the filling becomes light and fluffy. Set aside.
Fry the Donuts:
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
If using biscuit dough, cut a hole in the center of each biscuit to form a donut shape. If using donut dough, shape according to package directions.
Fry the donuts in batches for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer to paper towels to drain and cool slightly.
Assemble the Donuts:
Once the donuts are cool enough to handle, slice each donut in half horizontally, creating a donut sandwich.
Pipe or spoon the cheesecake filling onto the bottom half of each donut.
Add a spoonful of the peach cobbler filling over the cheesecake layer, spreading evenly.
Top the Donuts:
Sprinkle the crumbled graham crackers over the peach cobbler filling.
Drizzle with a little glaze and finish with a light dusting of cinnamon for extra flavor.
Serve:
Enjoy these Peach Cobbler Cheesecake Stuffed Donuts fresh and warm for the best flavor experience. Each bite is a delightful mix of fruity, creamy, and crunchy textures!
Tips:
Make-Ahead Option: Prepare the cheesecake and peach fillings a day in advance and refrigerate them, so assembly is quick when you’re ready to serve.
Air Fryer Option: For a lighter version, try cooking the donuts in an air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway through.
