Ingredients:
- For the Banana Bread Layer:
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup (120g) sugar
- 1/4 cup (60g) melted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- For the Brownie Layer:
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter
- 8 oz (225g) semi-sweet or dark chocolate, chopped (or use chocolate chips)
- 1/2 cup (100g) sugar
- 1/2 cup (100g) brown sugar, packed
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat Oven & Prepare Pan:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and line an 8×8-inch (20×20 cm) square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving a slight overhang for easy removal.
2. Banana Bread Layer:
- In a medium bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork or potato masher until smooth.
