Lobster Tails with Creamy Garlic Butter
Ingredients:
- 4 lobster tails
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 100g butter
- 200ml heavy cream
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Preparing the lobster tails: Preheat your oven to 200°C. Using kitchen scissors, cut the tops of the lobster tails lengthwise to expose the meat. Carefully remove the meat and place it on top of the shell.
- Preparing the sauce: In a large frying pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, until softened. until fragrant but not burnt.
- Add the cream: Stir the heavy cream into the pan with the garlic and butter. Stir well and simmer for about 3 to 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Season: Add the lemon juice, salt and pepper to the sauce. Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
- Cook the lobsters: Arrange the lobster tails in a baking dish and pour the creamy garlic sauce over the top. Bake for about 10 to 12 minutes, or until the meat is cooked through and opaque.
- Finish: Once cooked, remove the lobster tails from the oven and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley for garnish.
- Serve: Serve hot, accompanied by crusty bread to enjoy the delicious sauce. This dish is perfect for a special occasion or an elegant dinner.
Additional Tips: For an even more flavorful twist, you can add a pinch of crushed red pepper to the sauce for a little heat.”
