Crockpot Corn on the Cob

Here’s a super simple and tasty way to make Crockpot Corn on the Cob — perfect for easy dinners, potlucks, or cookouts!

🌽 Crockpot Corn on the Cob

Ingredients:

  • 6–8 ears of corn, husked and cleaned
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, cut into pieces
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: garlic powder, paprika, or fresh herbs (like parsley or thyme)
  • Optional: 1/2 cup water or milk (for extra moisture and flavor)

Instructions:

  1. Prep the corn: Break ears in half if needed to fit them in your crockpot.
  2. Layer in the slow cooker: Place the corn inside. Dot with butter pieces and season with salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings or herbs.
  3. Add liquid (optional): Pour in a little water or milk for steam. This helps keep the corn extra tender and juicy, but it’s not required.
  4. Cover and cook:
    • On High: 2–3 hours
    • On Low: 4–5 hours
(You can let it sit on warm if you’re serving later.)
  5. Serve: Give it a final brush with melted butter if desired and serve warm!

✅ Tips:

  • You can wrap each ear in foil with butter and seasoning for extra flavor and easy cleanup.
  • For cheesy corn, sprinkle with grated parmesan or cotija cheese before serving.
