Baked Ham and Cheese Croissants
These Baked Ham and Cheese Croissants are golden, melty, and perfect for a quick breakfast or lunch. With savory ham and gooey cheese inside, they’re simple yet delicious!
Ingredients:
6 large croissants, sliced in half
12 slices of deli ham
6 slices of Swiss or cheddar cheese
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1/4 cup melted butter
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp poppy seeds (optional)
Directions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Assemble Croissants: Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard on the bottom half of each croissant. Layer 2 slices of ham and 1 slice of cheese on top, then place the other half of the croissant on top.
Prepare Butter Topping: In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, and poppy seeds (if using). Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the croissants.
Bake: Place the croissants on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the croissants are golden brown.
