Classic Peach Cobbler Cheesecake Donuts
Ingredients
For the Donuts:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Cheesecake Filling:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
For the Peach Cobbler Topping:
1 1/2 cups fresh peaches, diced
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
For the Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2-3 tbsp milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a donut pan.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, mix milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla.
Combine wet and dry ingredients.
Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about 3/4 full.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden and springy to the touch.
Let cool.
In a bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Transfer to a piping bag fitted with a small round tip.
In a saucepan, combine peaches, sugar, and cinnamon.
Cook over medium heat until peaches soften.
Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook until the mixture thickens.
Let cool.
Use a small knife or piping tip to create a hole in each donut.
Pipe the cheesecake filling into the center.
In a bowl, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
Dip the top of each donut in the glaze.
Spoon the peach cobbler mixture on top of each donut.
