1 lb ham steak (diced)
1 can (15 oz) white beans (drained and rinsed)
4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
1 medium onion (chopped)
2 carrots (sliced)
2 celery stalks (sliced)
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1 bay leaf
1 tsp dried thyme
Salt and pepper (to taste)
Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)
Directions:
