Papaya Sunrise Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:

Bottom Layer (Sunrise base):

  • 1 cup ripe papaya, chopped
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt or coconut yogurt (optional for creaminess)
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)

Top Layer (Sunrise glow):

  • 1/2 cup strawberries or raspberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice or water
  • A few ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. Blend the Bottom Layer:
  • Add papaya, banana, orange juice, yogurt, and sweetener (if using) to a blender.
  • Blend until smooth and pour into a glass, filling about 2/3 of the way.
  1. Blend the Top Layer:
  • Rinse the blender, then add strawberries and pineapple juice.
  • Blend until smooth. Gently pour over the back of a spoon to layer on top of the papaya mix, creating a sunrise gradient.
  1. Optional Garnish:
  • Add a slice of orange, mint sprig, or a few chia seeds on top for flair.
