Pecan Snowball Cookies, perfect for holiday sweets

2.25 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup chopped pecans ~4oz.
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup unsalted butter softened (~1 stick)
4 oz. cream cheese softened
1 cup powdered sugar divided
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat the oven to 350℉.
Place the flour, pecans, and salt into a large bowl and mix. Set aside.
Add the butter, cream cheese, ½ cup powdered sugar, and vanilla in a separate bowl. Cream together until light and fluffy.
Add the flour mixture to the butter cream cheese and blend until combined.
Using a 1.5-tablespoon cookie scoop, scoop out the dough and place it on the cookie sheet.
Bake for 11 minutes or until the bottoms are golden brown.
Allow the cookies to cool for 5 minutes, then roll them in the remaining powdered sugar. Then set it on a cooling rack to cool. Store in an airtight container.
