Roasted boneless pork chops

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika (or regular paprika)
  • 1 tsp dried thyme (or your favorite herb)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the Pork Chops:
    • Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. This helps to get a nice sear and caramelization.
  3. Season:
    • In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.
    • Rub this mixture all over the pork chops, ensuring they are well coated.
  4. Roast:
    • Place the pork chops on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or in a roasting pan.
    • Roast in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  5. Rest:
    • Remove the pork chops from the oven and let them rest for about 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute, keeping them moist.
  6. Serve:
    • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve with your favorite sides like roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.

Enjoy!
