Ingredients:

For the meat & noodles:

  • 8 oz flank steak (or sirloin), thinly sliced against the grain
  • 8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz noodles (lo mein, ramen, or rice noodles work great)
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil (plus more for cooking)
  • Salt & pepper to taste

For the sauce:

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce (low sodium if preferred)
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar or honey
  • 1 tsp sriracha (optional, for heat)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated

Optional add-ins:

  • 1 cup mixed veggies (bell peppers, snap peas, carrots)
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain, rinse, and set aside.
  2. Prepare the sauce: In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, sriracha, garlic, and ginger. Set aside.
  3. Sear the steak: Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Season steak with salt and pepper, then cook for 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. Cook the shrimp: In the same pan, add a little more oil if needed and cook shrimp for about 2 minutes per side or until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
  5. Stir-fry veggies (if using): Toss in your vegetables and sauté until just tender.
  6. Combine: Add noodles, steak, shrimp, and sauce back into the pan. Toss everything together over medium heat for 2–3 minutes until well coated and heated through.
  7. Serve: Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Enjoy hot!
