Here’s a classic recipe for Strawberry Marshmallow Fluff Salad, a sweet, creamy dessert salad that’s perfect for potlucks, BBQs, or family gatherings:


Strawberry Marshmallow Fluff Salad

Ingredients:

  • 1 (8 oz) container of Cool Whip (thawed)
  • 1 (3.4 oz) package of instant vanilla pudding mix (do not prepare, just the powder)
  • 1 cup milk (cold)
  • 1 (21 oz) can strawberry pie filling
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1½ cups chopped fresh strawberries
  • ½ cup crushed pineapple (drained well)
  • ½ cup sweetened shredded coconut (optional)
  • ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Mix Pudding Base:
    In a large bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until smooth and slightly thickened (about 1-2 minutes).
  2. Fold in Cool Whip:
    Gently fold in the Cool Whip until fully combined with the pudding mixture.
  3. Add Fruit & Filling:
    Stir in the strawberry pie filling, chopped fresh strawberries, crushed pineapple, and coconut (if using).
  4. Add Marshmallows & Nuts:
    Fold in mini marshmallows and nuts (if using) until evenly distributed.
  5. Chill:
    Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving, preferably 2–4 hours to allow flavors to meld.
  6. Serve:
    Serve chilled in bowls or cups. Garnish with extra strawberries or a dollop of whipped cream if desired.
